Congratulations!

You've just installed Boomerang and are now among the millions of Boomerang users who have upgraded Outlook to spend more time following through and less time following up.

You might have installed Boomerang for a specific feature or need, but while many people have a favorite, go-to feature, everyone’s Inbox can benefit from a multi-pronged Boomerang approach. You can access all of our features from the Boomerang task pane.

In this article:

Finding Boomerang in your Inbox

Welcome to your new, super-powered Outlook! After installing Boomerang for Outlook, you'll notice some new icons that will help you access the Boomerang task pane, and with it all of our features.

From Outlook for Office365/Windows

To access the Boomerang task pane from the Outlook desktop client, compose a new email or select any email and click Open Boomerang from the Outlookribbon:

From Outlook for Mac

After you install the add-in, the Boomerang button will appear in the toolbar at the top of your inbox.

If you don't see it in the toolbar at the top of your inbox, look for the "See more items" (three dot icon) in the upper right of your inbox. Click on the icon, then select Customize Toolbar. You should then be able to drag and drop Boomerang into your task bar menu.

From Outlook on the Web

When composing a new message or reading an email, Boomerang will be near the bottom in the Ellipsis icon (three dots) or nested in the Add-Ins icon.

To move Boomerang to a more accessible location, click the Cog ("Settings") Icon in the top right, then click View All Outlook Settings, then click Customize Actions. From here, check the box next to Boomerang under Message Surface section for Read View and under the Toolbar section for Compose View. Hit Save before closing the settings.

Accessing your Boomerang settings

In the bottom right-hand corner of the Boomerang Task Pane, you'll see a Manage button. This will take you to the Boomerang manage page, where you can access your Boomerang settings, invoices, and view and edit any pending messages.
