Understanding teams & how to get started
Boomerang has recently expanded how organization subscriptions are managed, as well as adding exciting new team scheduling features!

Creating teams within an organization

- Navigate to your Teams page, and click on New Team.

- Enter the team's name, the desired URL for the team, the time zone, preferred date format, preferred time format, and what day you want the week to start on when viewing the team's bookable schedules. Then click on Create Team.

- You'll now be taken to a team page where you can add team members, create and access bookable schedules created for the team, and can access the team settings.
Adding team members and team managers

- Navigate to the Teams page, and click on the name of the team you want to add people to.

- Click on Add Team Members.

- Enter the email addresses of each team member and/or the desired team manager. When adding each email address, you can select whether that person is a Team Manager by checking the box next to Team Manager, or leave it unchecked if they are just a team member.
- Please note that each team needs at least one Team Manager - it is best to add the team manager first, and then the other team members. If the creator of the team has an assigned license, they will be made the team manager by default. If the creator of the team is an admin without a license, the team manager will not be filled automatically.

- Click on Add Users to finalize the additions.
Removing team members

- Navigate to the Teams page, and click on the name of the team you want to remove people from.

- Click on the Ellipsis (...) Icon next to the person you want to remove, and click on Remove From Team

- Click on Remove Member to confirm the change.

Team settings

- Navigate to the Teams page, and click on the team name.

- Click on Settings.

- Make any changes desired, and the changes will automatically be saved.
