How will I know when everyone has voted?

You will receive an email notification each time a vote has been submitted. You can also view the status of your polls at any time by clicking on the meeting poll from your manage page.

If you chose one of the automatic booking settings, once the condition (such as booking threshold or required participants) is met, Boomerang will choose the optimal time that meets the requirements, let you know, and send out Google Calendar invitations on your behalf.

What happens if I BCC or CC an email address when inviting recipients to my Meeting Poll?

When an email address is CC’d or BCC’d, they will not be added to the poll as a participant. CC'd email addresses will show as CC'd in the email that gets sent, but BCC'd email addresses will not.

How can I update my own responses as the organizer with my availability?

Click on the meeting on your Meeting Poll manage page. On the poll page you will see your name and email address at the top of the list of recipients - click on Edit to change your own availability.

How does Automatic Booking work?

If you chose one of the automatic booking settings, once the condition is met, Boomerang will choose the soonest available time that meets the requirements, and send out Google Calendar invitations on your behalf:

  • Past voting deadline:  When the current date/time matches the voting deadline, the event will be booked
  • Booking threshold: The booking threshold number represents the number of recipients that have responded "yes" for a particular time slot. Once this threshold has been met, the event will be booked.
  • Required participants: Once the specified participants have voted, the event will be booked.
